When my colleague runs a compiled version of our application he sees the modified back color of unselected tabs.   For some reason on my computer with the same application (and on our citrix farm) the color does not change (whether set in script or in properties) and stays grey/white.

It looks like the IDE setting for classic mode also affects existing compiled applications that were compiled with the classic mode disabled!   Does PB poke a registry setting to flip the classic mode that all applications use?

Any ideas?

Mark

Hi, Mark -

Maybe right-click the app icon, go to Properties, and check the settings in the "Compatibility" tab to see if anything looks wonky? Just a thought...

What version of PB is the app using? What version(s) of Windows?

Basically we were baffled by the fact that the IDE setting for the application affects compiled versions of the application!     We have decided to go with a combination of themes and using picturebuttons to handle coloring of buttons.  Not elegant but it leaves us in control of colors!
