Hello, I am looking to auto-hide a dockable window in an mdidockhelp! frame. The window opens in the frame and docks nicely. When the user hovers over the tab on the left, it slides out. I would like to have it set so that when the user's mouse is no longer over the window, it automatically slides back left and pins.

Thanks!

I am pretty sure I heard someone say at one of the conferences that the docking windows were slated for a complete rewrite due to poor design by SAP. Is that true and what is the timeline?

Hi Roland;

I do not believe that that any assessment has been made on the current codeline that still implements the PB12.6 dock-able window feature in Appeon PB today. I will however, check with Engineering to see if they have this review in their plans after PB2019 GA is delivered.

Hi Steven;

   At the moment, there is no way to control the state of an MDI Child "docked" window after its open. I originally opened ticket #1310 about this. There has been no action on this and also related dockable related tickets thus far. I believe that Appeon is planning to look into this "dockable" area when they also address PB's overall GUI improvements in upcoming releases.

HTH

Regards ... Chris
