Not sure if I am missing something or setup issue or not understanding how to use the packager... but when I try to use the packager wizard I get the "Welcome screen" and no matter what I do not able to go to the next screen.  Just the "default" profile shows up, none of my app profiles are showing.  I am trying to create a package for a PowerServer app (not Mobile just web).   (Running PB 2017 R1 Universal)

Hi David;

  In PB2017R1, make sure that you run the PB Packager from its installed "short-cut" and not the EXE itself. In PB2017R3, that restriction has been lifted.

Regards ... Chris

Hi Chris, not sure if I am understanding. I am clicking on the "package" icon on the appeon toolbar in the PB development environment, Is that what you are referring to?

Ooooo ... I was thinking about the PB Packager and not the PowerServer Packager. ,

Hmmm .. PB2017R1 only had support for PS Mobile. I think that you will need PB2017R2 or better yet R3 to fix this issue as the PS Toolkit (part of the PB IDE) needed an update to handle the PS web aspects (if I recall correctly).

OK, that would make sense. Someone here got a trial version or R3 and it was working on that version. Thanks.

Hi David,

you need to click "next" and continue the wizard:

1) first screen: welcome page where you must input a package profile name. First time is "default", change it at your convenience

2) second screen: select the type of package

3) third screen: here you can select one among your existing application profiles

Best,

.m

Marco, the "Next" button is not working, nothin happens when I click on it. That's why I am not sure if there are any requirements that I maybe missing that allows the window to change to the next screen.
