I understand the reasons appeon decided to discontinue this site. But I will mention that it did had a section about Powerbuilder which was great. One thing that I miss from that site is the announcements. In Appeon web site announcements are lost. I'm talking about new versions (exampe ebfs). We do get email notification when a new release is available, but this may happen even a month later. Also I believe that https://support.appeon.com/ was more readable. It was not marketing oriented as is appeon's official web page. The company is great for future customers, in my opinion. But not for customer who already use pb. They do have different needs. I know there is a content under develop menu, but even there it's mostly about support and people looking for learning resourcses. Also, https://www.devmagic.com/ is a great site, but there are lot of people ignoring it's existance. And even there, site's setup is marketing oriented. I would like to see some more techical parts in the site. For both powerbuilder and snap develop. Something that is in the front, easy to find. Not hidden.

Also, it would be nice to have a notification inside the IDE when a new version (ebf, minor, major, beta) is available. I believe that this must be easy to implement. Most IDE's do provide such functionality.

Hi Andreas, please note that both Appoen News and Events can be subscribed via RSS. I think you can get prompt notification from your RSS feed whenever an MR or major version is released.
