I have read a lot of posts regarding getting WinSCP working in PB but nothing about how someone was able to do it (Sue Brown did say she got it working but didn't post how).  We are needing SFTP to do file transfers and this product seems to be the way to go. Has anyone got this working using the .Net DLL Importer or COM? I will be attempting sometime next month but if anyone had it figured out already it would be great to see it in CodeXchange!

Hi, Chris -

As a matter of fact, I'm currently adding this functionality to our product. We've elected to use the WinSCP.com utility in batch mode via the /command keyword option and supplying all of the information as additional arguments... to check on the existence of a file on a remote server and download the file using SFTP. I've verified that by invoking WinSCP.com via the "Run and Capture" functionality provided in Roland Smith's "Run and Wait" free code sample on his TopWizProgramming web site, the console output from the WinSCP.com utility can be captured and analyzed without a visible DOS/command window appearing.

Admittedly, it's not ideal, but it will accomplish what we need it to do.

Unfortunately, since the code will become part of our commercial product, it is unlikely that I'll be able to share it.
