Hi,

    We have a code where we are passing the data window in ue_broadcast event to get call in different tab page associated within that window to share the dw b/w main dw and datastore.  This is working fine in PB 2019 R3 Build 2703 but after we migrate to  build 2728 the code fails and the ancestor is not getting the dw obj. In UI we are getting the below error.

I tried migrated the source in 2019 R3 2728  & in 2021 1506 build also getting the same error.

Hi,

According to the message that you're seeing, your event is missing the "return with_some_value" somewhere. If you are sure that that's not the case you should create a support ticket.

Try commenting out the code of that specific event and then do a full build. After that, open the event, uncomment and see if you still get any errors.

regards

After applying the MR  2728 we had the same issue  and then we migrated the source to PB 2021 1503 and having the same issue.

I changed the version to 2019 MR 2703 and Migrated the source and full build the code works.

After changing to each version like from 2019 R 3 270 to 2728 , Migrated the source and Full build.

I tired optimize the pbl and did the full build. It doesn't help.

Hi Danish;

   After applying the MR and/or migrating to PB2021, did you ...

  1. Optimize all your PBLs?
  2. Perform a Full Build after step #1?

Regards ... Chris
