Hello.

I installed PowerBuilder 2025 Beta to try it out. I went through the install process and restarted my PC. When it restarted, I couldn't find the app to start PB 2025 beta, but worse I tried to start my PB 2022 R2 and I got this error (see below. I replaced my email address with ###### just for this screen shot. I uninstalled the beta usingĀ "Add or Remove Programs", but still I get this error when I try to start up.Ā 

Help please! I currently don't have a working PB development environment.

Ok well installing PB 2022 R3, restarting the PC, seems to have solved the issue. I can log into 2022 R3

Here is the version I have installed now:

That's not right though. I guess I will wait for the official PB 2025 version before installing.

Would have liked to try out the new IDEĀ frown

The issue you experienced seems to be related to what is described in this KB: https://www.appeon.com/developers/get-help/knowledgebase/4538



As mentioned in the KB and confirmed by your case, it has been resolved in 2022 R3. So it should not cause you the issue again with your test on PB 2025 Beta, we suggest that you try it out again and provide your valuable feedback instead of waiting for the GA release.

I'm installing 2022 R3 to see if that helps.
