Resolved Adding PDF-Background to a PDF

Hey Developers

Just installed 2022 R2 and checked all the new features.

 

Now it's possible to append several pdfs

But: Is it possible to add a pdf as background too? For example a company letter with header, logo and footer.

I didn't find any notes. So far I use an external commandline tool after creating pdfs as a temp file, which is adding a background pdf.

Will be great, if this is possible in PB directly

You can't add a pdf as background. But you can use an image as watermark.

AFAIK you can only add one image as watermark and it is for all pages.

I haven't used the integrated PDF tools, but if you want to add different watermarks, you might try splitting the PDF, adding a different watermark to each part and then merging them again. (That's what we do with our external tool)

so a PDF stationery document is not possible. Maybe it will be a good feature to allow also PDFs, for most of the people have their stationery paper with better vector - graphic as a pdf document for print services.

So I will going on using the command line tool, which is very fast.
