Hello,

I installed PowerBuilder 2022 in our VM machine. When I launch the PowerBuilder 2022 IDE and try to active my account, I get 'No network connection' message. This VM also have PowerBuilder 2019 installed and I don't have issue to use PowerBuilder 2019 IDE. What could be the issue for me to use PowerBuilder 2022 IDE in this VM? I installed PB 2022 on my computer and don't have issue on open the PB 2022 IDE.

Hi Jon.

PB 2022 Build 1900 solves that problem where you cannot connect to license server when using proxy server and having "Automatic detect settings" option enabled.

Hi.

I don't know if it's the same issue. I had this problem when I first installed PB 2022. It turned out it was related to proxy settings. So, if you are using a proxy server, go to your proxy settings and check the value for "Automatic detect settings" option:

If it's enabled turn it off and try again to connect.

By the way, I have opened a case (Bug 8476), which is private, about that problem. It originally came to my attention when using SnapDevelop 2022 and later I saw this happen with PB 2022.

Andreas.

Try logging out of PB 2019 and see if you can log back in.  Something may have changed with your firewall or network connectivity since you last logged in to PB 2019.

The other thing I would look at is whether any anti-virus or other security software is blocking the connection.  Per the docs, PB 2022 needs HTTP access to these domains and ports:  https://docs.appeon.com/pb2022/appeon_license_user_guide/ch03s01.html

Hi Armeen,

Yes, I am able to log out and log back in on PB2019 on the same VM.

In that case, the only thing I can think of is some security software on the machine is blocking PB 2022 from connecting to the Internet but thinks PB 2019 is OK.
