I have looked at the Appeon File Server and have successfully deployed it to iis. Now I need help. How do I achieve this on Linux?

Hi.

Your linux server does have samba? If not, I guess you have to install - customize samba and create a share for the folder containing that document.

Another option would be to use ftp, or even scp... But this means you would have to make more adaptations to your PB application.
