Hello,
I recently added address fields to a datawindow and I allow the user to check a box to show or not show the new fields. By default, they are NOT shown.
In the datawindow object, these new fields are invisible. I also position them far to the left and below the other fields and set them to invisible. The user can retrieve the datawindow and print it with no problems. Zero blank pages printed.
The user can check the box to show the new fields. In that case, I position them to the right and level with the existing fields. Everything is still fine. If the user prints, with the address fields shown to the right, it will spill over to another page but that is OK - nothing can be done about that except possibly zooming in to where the data is too small to see.
Now if the user unchecks the box to NOT show the address fields, I set them to invisible again and set their x positions way over to the left - same position as they were originally. But now if the user prints the datawindow, a blank page is printed for every non-blank page. It seems like Powerbuilder thinks those fields are still way over on the right.
How can I stop these blank pages from being printed after checking and subsequently unchecking the box?
Thank you,
Steven Watkins
