Unable to ctrl+V image into Bilt-in TX Text Control ActiveX control

Using PowerBuilder 2025R2 6430 - we are no longer able to paste in an image and save to oracle as a clob. It now saves a temp file location instead of the image itself. The same process of copy and paste works without issue when pasting into Word. This problem exists when using as PowerBuilder Client, PowerServer Client, and from the IDE.

We are using Snagit as our image capture tool but get the same results using windows Snipping tool.

 

Previously with PB 2022 this worked without issue. 

When grabbing the string prior to converting to a clob, I get something like the following in the string:

... INCLUDEPICTURE "C:\\\\Users\\\\tst12345\\\\AppData\\\\Local\\\\Temp\\\\RTCD87.tmp" ...

 

Note: I can use the 'Insert Picture...' and it will imbed the image and it will use the image instead of the temp file location.

 

And suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
