All,
We are currently using an application that was originally developed 30 years ago. The code was upgraded a few years back to PowerBuilder version 2019.
This application uses OLE objects to print labels to printers connected via the COM port of the terminal where the application is running.
We now want to transition to printing labels on network-connected printers. My first goal is to establish a connection to a network printer from within PowerBuilder code and perform a test print. Once that is successful, I plan to format the labels and send them to the label printer.
Could you please assist with the PowerBuilder code required to send a test page to a network printer? Also, aside from the printer's IP address, is there anything else we need to successfully send the test print from PowerBuilder? Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ramesh G
