Migrating from LDAP to Microsoft Entra ID in PowerBuilder – Looking for Guidance

Hi Everyone,

I'm currently working on modernizing a PowerBuilder application that uses LDAP authentication via VBScript. As part of our upgrade strategy, we're planning to move away from LDAP and integrate Microsoft Entra ID for authentication.

I came across the Appeon documentation mentioning that "PowerServer provides templates for working with Microsoft Entra ID", which is encouraging. However, I’d love to hear from anyone who has hands-on experience implementing Entra ID in PowerBuilder.

If you've used any libraries, tools, or have best practices to share—especially around secure credential handling, token management, or integrating with REST APIs—I’d greatly appreciate your insights.
