Hi,
We're running a powerbuilder app (version 2025 Build 3683) inside of a .net 8 WPF application. It is hosted in a component called HwndHost. This requires the powerbuilder app to be a child window.
It seems like when a powerbuilder app is launched as a child window, it loses its DPI awareness. We have tried various workarounds but the only one that works somewhat (results are far from perfect) is setting the "High DPI scaling override" on the powerbuilder app .exe file like this:
Note that this gives a scaling behavior that leads to a lot of small overlap and misalignment issues in the UI of the powerbuilder app. When running the powerbuilder app on it's own it works very well.
Is this a known limitation when launching a powerbuilder app as a child window or can we address this in some way. We have access to both the .net and the powerbuilder code.
