Dear All,
We are currently using PowerBuilder 2019(64bit) R3 Build 2797 (Runtime 19.2.0.2797) on Windows Server 2019 Standard (64-bit).
We have upgraded our application to 64-bit and recompiled all required DLLs in 64-bit format. The application is working correctly when executed through the compiled 64-bit runtime EXE.
However, when we attempt to run the application directly from the PowerBuilder IDE, its not working neither its running nor we can add debugs and run .
Environment Details:
PowerBuilder Version: 2019 R3 Build 2797
OS: Windows Server 2019 Standard (64-bit)
DLLs: Compiled in 64-bit
Runtime EXE: Working fine
IDE Run: Not working
It appears there may be a mismatch between the IDE execution environment and the 64-bit compiled components.
Could you please help us here ?
How should we test/debug applications that depend on 64-bit code and DLLs?
Is there any recommended configuration to allow debugging in such scenarios?
Kindly assist us in identifying the root cause and the recommended approach.
