Hello,

This is a long time issue for me:

Are there any start parameters for the Powerbuilder IDE? Currently I open a specific workspace by double clicking on the pbw file. That's OK. But very often have to change "DB Profile"too. And I always do the by hand.

Something like this would be nice:

PB220 /pbw=myapp.pbw /DBProfile=myDB

Regards

Roy

Just an idea:

You could create a startup script that sets the database profile you want to use in the registry.

see MRUProfile value in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Sybase\PowerBuilder\19.0\DatabaseProfiles\PowerBuilder

Hi Roy,

You can use some command line parameters when you start Powerbuilder IDE. But it seems that there is no parameter to change the DBProfile.

Hi Roy;

Please open a support ticket for this requirement as an enhancement for these start-up options. You have a great suggestion IMHO.
