Hi,

how can i search for a specific datawindow and window in the workspace.I know we can do it with right click on target is there any other way becuase in that way searching is very tough.

I heard about pbsearch i tried installing that but i think tht is  not for PB 9.

 

Please sugest if you have nay other way.

PBSearch works with version 4 and higher, including PB.Net and PocketBuilder.

Now working fine..



I download it again and it installed successful.



Can you please help to use it in a proper manner or can help how to use it for what all purposes i can use it.

If you know the name of the DW, you can search the target for the name.
Example:  we seek "dw_1".

If what you really want is where that dw is defined, try searching for this:
      dw_1.DataObject


You can search the Workspace, the Target, and the individual PBLs.

You can also use Roland's tool PBSearch:
