Resolved Remote desktop / Citrix - Appeon 2019 build 2170

Hi,

We are running Appeon 2019 build 2170 with Oracle 12c as DB on Citrix and MS Remote Desktop Service (RDS).

We experience huge differences in data delivery on RDS vs Citrix and wonder if anyone has any input.

Something is probably explained by the difference in bandwidth usage. Especially on fetching data from Oracle 12c, Citrix is ​​up to 3 times faster than RDS.

 

My question is:

Are there any known issues with Appeon on RDS that indicate this, or is it just the bandwidth and usage of this that is the difference?

You should explain what you mean by fetching data.  Are you talking about display of say a report or screen via a datawindow?

I will check up on this one.

By fetching data I was thinking of Appeon's Datawindow getting all the data from the result of one select.

In first we have the select and from there Appeon is getting all data to the datawindow. (Fetching all data).
