Resolved powerbuilder 2017 system requirements

Hi, I cant find the system requirements for PB2017 - developement not runtime

Can I run the IDE on Win7 32bit or does it need to be 64bit ?

   FYI: From the PB 2017 installation manual ...

 

2. System Requirements

Before installing Appeon PowerBuilder 2017 Universal Edition, please ensure that your system meets the requirements below:

For installing PowerBuilder & PowerServer Toolkit

  • Windows 10, Windows 8.1, or Windows 7
    Supports Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 runtime only, not development.

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0

  • (Optional) SAP SQL Anywhere 12.0, 16.0, or 17.0 (for running the PowerBuilder demos)

For installing PowerServer Mobile (.NET)

  • (Recommended) Windows Server 2016, 2012 R2, or 2008 R2
    (Optional) Windows 10/8.1/7

  • Microsoft IIS 10, 8.0, 7.5, 7.0, or 6.0

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.x

Thanks - need to install on a laptop with win7 32 to do some testing / dont wont to have to keep compiling then deploying - this is where the new licence model is so usefull

The IDE is 32 bit although it will run on a 64 bit OS.
