Hi,

umm.. First, I Can't English well...

I'm helped by google translator now.

I hope you understand... and Please help me  :)

1. Is Oracle 10g Client for X64 compatible with PB2017?

I'm taking a trial version and testing it on my pc (win 10 x64)

It makes error.
error message is "Failed get to local NLS_LANG character set"

I checked PATH env, but can find no problem.

But Oracle 10g Client for X86 confirmed it was OK.

2. Programs created(depolyed) on x64 platform can use Oracle Client for x86?

I tried that, it makes an error.

Have to use Client x64?

I'm sorry I made strange English again -_-;;

The bitness of the database client needs to match the program, not the operating system. The PowerBuilder IDE is 32bit so needs the 32bit version of Oracle Client. If you deployed your application as 64bit, you would need the 64bit Oracle Client.
