Resolved ImportJson on mobile app

Hi,

We are using PB2019 for developing a new mobile app that consume Web APIs developed in C#. These Web API returns standard JSON strings that we are trying import to DW with ImportJSON(). It doesn't work on mobile app? Any advice how to import JSON data to DW in this case? Will ImportJSON available on mobile app in the future versions?

Hi Marcos;

   For a Mobile based PB application, you would use the "eon_cjsonnode" object class located in the "Appeon_Workarounds.pbl" library, as follows:

Perfect. It is not like a RestClient or ImportJson, but works fine for me.

Hi Marcos;

Yes, it's not like PB because the PowerServer Mobile product had JSON support before PowerBuilder. I am sure that Appeon Engineering will "level the paying field" on this feature set. The priority for the moment was PowerServer Web Apps as they had no JSON support until the PS2019 release.
