Hello, I have been reading the documentation about "Publish and Host Apps Developed in SnapDevelop" i seems the tutorial uses Windows Server. I doing it with windors 10, but im having problems with this

ERROR_DESTINATION_NOT_REACHABLE: Web deployment task failed. (Could not connect to the remote computer ("xxxxx.xxxxxxx.xxx.xxxx"). On the remote computer, make sure that Web Deploy is installed and that the required process ("Web Management Service") is started

That "Web Managament Service" option is available only in Windows Server, is they a way to do it in Windows 10?

Hi Samuel,

It seems that we can't use Web Deploy remotely from all non-server Windows operating systems.

If your server's operating system is Windows 10, you can use File System, rather than Web Deploy, to publish your project to your local folder.

Regards,

Logan

I re-installed Web Deploy on the remote server making sure the IIS Deployment Handler feature was enabled/included.  Now I am getting a different error -- see attached.  Any suggestions on what I can try to resolve this?

Thanks, Tom

Logan, I am trying to deploy a SnapDevelop API using Web Deploy from a Windows 10 machine to a remote machine that uses the Windows 2016 Server OS.  I am getting the attached error.  I have verified that the Web Management Service is running on the remote service.  Per the Appeon deployment instructions, I configured a Windows user and an IIS Manager user in IIS.  When I click the validate.  In the web deploy profile for the API, I get the green check when I click the 'Validate Connection' button.

What can I do to get this working?  In this instance, using a file system deploy is not a good option.

Thanks, Tom
