Hi everybody,

We have deployed a web application from PB/PS 2017 to an Appeon Server 2016 using the following method (that worked perfectly when using PB12.6 and Appeon developper 2016):

1 Deployment of the application by using PowerServer 2017 in our development PC, setting a web server root path to local machine
2 Packaging of the application
3 Copying package to Appeon Server 2016 and installation of this package

However when we launch the application in a client PC (using IE), the system systematically asks us to install the Appeon Xcelerator plugin and we cannot reach the logon window.

Any idea of a solution for this issue?

Thanks!

PL

Hi Lebret;

    File generated from PowerServer 2017 are not backward compatible with Appeon Server 2016. You must either: a) continue to develop & deploy against an Appeon 2016 development Server or b) upgrade your Appeon 2016 server in production to PS 2017.

uninstall any prior version appeon plug ins that are already installed on the client pc.  then try again.

that is something that needs privileges. Also, you can keep different plugin versions at the same time.

Hi Marco,

Thank you for your quick reply!

Unfortunately IE settings seems to be OK.

Any other suggestion?
