We have migrated our application to Powerserver 2022 which have many .Net assemblies. We have deployed our Powerserver App and API to EKS/Docker/Nginx on Linux.

We did not tried or tested it yet, but curious to explore the ability to run this from Linux Machine. If this can be done then how and what all need to be considered.

Hi Anoop,

PowerServer apps can be HOSTED on Linux and the Web APIs can also run on Linux. However, the client apps can only be run on Windows.
Not sure if you'd want to venture into using Wine, but that's definitely not supported and you'd be on your own.

Francisco

Adding to what Francisco said, here are instructions to deploy the Web APIs to a Linux server: https://docs.appeon.com/ps2022r2/Running_Web_APIs_with_Kestrel.html

And instructions to configure NGINX as the reverse proxy: https://docs.appeon.com/ps2022r2/Configuring_Nginx_reverse_proxy_server_Linux.html
