Hi
After performing a new installation on a new computer, I am unable to log in simultaneously in PowerBuilder 2019 and PowerBuilder 2025 using the same Appeon account. This functionality was working correctly on my previous computer.
Environment details:
License type: CloudPro
Operating System: Windows 11
PowerBuilder 2019 R3 – Build 2803
Runtime version: Build 2803
PowerBuilder 2025 – Build 3726
Runtime version: Build 3726
Both PowerBuilder installations are paid versions.
Currently, when I open one of the two PowerBuilder versions, if it is different from the one used previously, the system prompts me to log in to Appeon again. When I log in, if the previous session was not properly closed—either by selecting “Sign out on exit” when closing the application or by manually signing out from the Appeon website—I receive the following error message:
This account is already logged in to PowerBuilder. Please use another account.
Note: One account cannot log in to trial and paid versions at the same time.
This behavior did not occur on the previous machine. It appears that the session is not being released correctly between different PowerBuilder versions on the same computer.
Please advise whether this is a known limitation, a licensing restriction, or a configuration issue related to simultaneous logins across multiple PowerBuilder versions.
Regards,
Alvar
