Dear Appeon Team,
I would like to inquire about the future product roadmap regarding multi-threading capabilities in PowerBuilder.
Currently, multi-threading is handled via Shared Objects. However, these objects run in isolated contexts and cannot directly access global variables, application states, or unified global error-handling mechanisms. This makes centralized error tracking and state management across parallel tasks quite challenging.
Are there any plans in the future to introduce true multi-threading support—or improvements to the current architecture—where worker threads could share or access global elements (such as global variables and global error contexts)?
