I have an application that is written in PB 2022 R3, going against a MSSQL 2022 database using ODBC. It has a section of code that takes the values from the screen and passes them to a database stored procedure. I will paste the calling of the stored procedure below.
My issue is that this works differently for 2 different people. Both have the same rights in the database. Both are on the same VPN connection. One the insert works great, the other the system acts like it does the insert, but no data is inserted. Both users have tried the same record to insert and it works for 1 but not the other.
Both users have tried each others database logins as well. The first user inserts the records regardless of which login is used. The second user does not.
has anyone ran into anything similar. It appears to possibly be something on the user's PC, connection or something, but I am at a lost of where to look next.
The powerbuilder application runs from a server location, so the EXE, PBDs and all runtime files on the server is a specific file folder the app runs from.
