I find myself working on multiple projects at one time, so I have established a DevBox instance for each project I work on. It helps keep things neat and tidy, and I don't have any cross contamination of objects from one project to another.
The problem I encounter is that when switching from one dev box to another, I have to sign out of the current PowerBuilder session, Or close PowerBuilder alltogether, and then open or re-login to the PowerBuilder session on the next virtual machine.
I realize this is a small annoyance and it's totally required for preventing bad actors from abusing their licenses. But I think I have something to make like just a little bit easier.
What I would LOVE to see would be a button made available on the Powerbar that would allow for a quick sign out or sign in with the saved credentials, so I could easily switch from one project to another without having to interact with the Account Management popup menu. It could even have a dropdown arrow next to it to change accounts, bring up the popup, or whatever else is appropriate.
It could turn the button red and lock the rest of the IDE when you click to sign out, much like the Account Management popup menu does. When you click it again, it would sign you in with the saved credentials and release the lock on the remainder of the IDE.
Thank you again for your time and attention,
Mike Sinclair
