SAP ASE temporary env

We are currently in a challenging situation and would appreciate your guidance.

We have a backup of a Sybase ASE 16.0 database that was created about a year ago. Unfortunately, we do not have an existing Sybase environment available to restore or access this backup. We urgently need to stand up a Sybase environment to load the backup and review the data.

Our requirement is temporary in nature—we anticipate needing this environment for approximately 2–3 months.

Could you please advise on the best way to provision a Sybase ASE environment for this short duration, ideally without incurring the cost of a full annual license?

We would greatly appreciate any recommendations or options you can suggest.
