Hi,
one of our customers found in a version of our product, which is based on PB2019 ( yes his version is an old one ), that the libcurl.dll ( version 7.70.0.0 ) has some security issue and the cve-number CVE-2024-7264.
He asked us, how to handle this issue with this dll as this is related to our product.
Our first answer of course is: Update your program version to the newest which is based on PB2022.
My question would be now:
How does Appeon handle such things in between releases within the same version ( e.g. PB2022 )? If a new release is deployed, are all dependent runtime libs everytime 'up to date', so that we could deliver them to our customers? I ask here because usually we only take the runtime libs once e.g. of a R3 and keep them until a complete new higher PB version is available with R2/R3.
Kind regards,
Michael
