I just updated my Powerbuilder 2025 build 3683 to 3711. I have two applications, both in solution mode (not workspace mode). One is a traditional client/server app, the other is a PowerClient app. Each time I switch workspaces/solutions to the PowerClient solution, I am prompted to full build the solution with runtime 3711, even though I have done this multiple times now. I have rebooted my laptop, and I have opened and closed the PowerBuilder IDE multiple times.
I did not have this problem when I upgraded from PB2022R3 to PB2025 several months ago. But I also didn't change to "solution" mode until after that upgrade.
Part of the problem may be that the PB IDE still thinks it is build 3683? The Help screen shows that is the IDE version, although it shows the runtime as 3711.
The message I see when I switch recent workspaces/solutions to the PowerClient solution (the C/S solution does not throw this message, at least not after I full built it once or twice.
My first thought is that our source control software might be preventing PB from updating the solution or target with the build number. But I do not have the .pbsln file or the .pbproj file controlled by the source control software, so they should be fully modifiable.
Any suggestions?
