Hello,
We have a Citrix environment where we host an application for external clients, including integrating InfoMaker for some power users. Recently we have had an issue where these users are leaving their computers with InfoMaker logged in, and when the Citrix session idle timer expires it force-quits the session and all programs, including InfoMaker.
This results in our users being unable to log in to InfoMaker again, since the license was not released gracefully. This then requires someone on our staff to manually go in and log out the previous session.
Many times this happens outside of our regular support hours, leaving our clients to be unable to work for extended periods of time, and they are getting frustrated.
My questions are as follows:
1) Is there a programmatic way we can use to log out InfoMaker accounts on the Appeon license server in this scenario?
2) Does InfoMaker have a means to script closing the program (without saving outstanding changes) programmatically, for use in a custom logoff script?
3) Are there any other programmatic solutions we could consider?
Constraints:
- We are unwilling to give any client users the "license admin" role
- We are running on virtual Windows server machines in the cloud with roaming profiles, so offline licenses are not allowed.
