Hi,

We have upgraded one of our application from Powerbuilder server 2017 to 2021. Post which we found one issue with one of the print functionality. Like when we are trying to download/print a pdf from citrix icon it is not getting downloaded nor it is asking in which drive you want to download, the window to save in any drive/path is not popping up.

The application icon is published in citrix and also there is a file share path from where application is also accessed that is inside VDI. The download functionality is working fine from the file share path but not from the citrix icon. Also when we are logging the citrix account from the VDI and then accessing the citrix app icon then also it is working but not from outside VDI.

While comparing the dll files of both file share path and the frontend code found one difference in date.
In file share path the below 2 files are for respective dates from where the functionality is working fine.
pfccom32.dll    16/02/1996
pr_build32.srj    14/06/2019

and in frontend the 2 files are for these dates where application is not working

pfccom32.dll    11/07/2022
pr_build32.srj    11/07/2022

Further we replaced the files in the directory from date 2022 to 1996 and 2019 respectively. And we checked that code deploying and running in PB tool it is then throwing the attached error while printing the document.
But when the code is running locally it is not throwing any error and the files are also getting downloaded easily with both the dates files.

Could you please help us on this, is this something related to dll files or related to citrix? We also checked refreshing our citrix profile but it didn't worked. Also we noticed that it is working perfectly fine for few members in our team but for others (most of the member) it is not working.
Please suggest.

While printing any document we get the below options and from all the options we tried printing it but it is not getting printed.
1. Adobe PDF
2. Exasoft PDF printer
3. Microsoft Print to PDF
4. Microsoft XPS Document Writer

Lastly, one more point I wanted to add that this download functionality is sometimes working for me also i am able to download the files but when i re login into the citrix then it is not working. As highlighted above it is working perfectly fine from VDI when accessing using citrix.

Thanks,

Priya
