Hi Team,
We are experiencing a display issue after migrating our application from PowerBuilder 2017 (v10.6) to PowerBuilder 2022 R3 (v13).
Environment
PowerBuilder 2022 R3
Windows application running in Citrix (Thin Client)
Dual-monitor setup
Windows Server (Citrix environment)
SQL Server backend (not related to this issue)
Issue
When the application is opened on the secondary monitor within a Citrix session, some child windows (for example, the Product Search window) do not open correctly.
Symptoms:
The window does not fit within the screen.
The OK, Cancel, and Help buttons at the bottom are not visible until the window is manually moved or resized.
The maximize button is also partially outside the visible area.
This issue:
Occurs only when running on the secondary monitor.
Does not occur when the application is opened on the primary monitor.
Does not occur in our PowerBuilder 2017 (v10.6) application under the same Citrix environment.
Questions:
Are there any known changes in PowerBuilder 2022 R3 related to:DPI awareness
Multi-monitor support
Citrix compatibility
Window sizing or positioning
Are there any recommended settings (PB runtime, application manifest, pb.ini, or Windows/Citrix settings) for applications running on multiple monitors in Citrix?
Has anyone experienced similar behaviour after migrating from PB 2017 to PB 2022?
Are there any PowerBuilder runtime patches or settings that address child windows opening outside the visible area on secondary monitors?
Any guidance or recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks,
--Sachi...
