Hi Team,
We are facing an issue in PowerBuilder 2022 Build 3452 and would appreciate any guidance.
Environment:
PowerBuilder 2022 Build 3452
Runtime version: 3452
All referenced PBDs have been upgraded to the current version
Issue Description:
The application builds successfully when the PB IDE is opened fresh.
Steps to reproduce:
Open PB IDE.
Perform a Full Build or Incremental Build → Build succeeds.
Run a debugging session.
Stop debugging.
Perform Full Build
At this point, the build fails with hundreds of errors such as:
C0159: Conversion of xxx.pbl(xxxxx.udo) failed.
Probable library file I/O error.
The errors occur across multiple PBLs and object types (.udo, .win, .fun, .men, .str, etc.).
Additional Observations
The issue occurs only after a debug session.
Optimizing the affected PBLs does not resolve the issue.
After the failure, attempting to open some objects shows:
Open of User Object XXXX failed.
It has been migrated to current version format,
but must also be successfully regenerated.
Manually regenerating the object reports success.
However, the build errors continue.
PBT and PBW timestamps do not change when the issue occurs.
The problem affects multiple PBLs, not just a single library.
The application builds successfully before the debug session.
