In migrating to PB 2019 R3, we found a behavior change on datawindows with a populated group trailer band.
In PB 2017 and earlier, our collapsed trailer bands w/ content (text, fields, etc) would autosize when data was retrieved - even when the checkbox wasn't checked.
In PB 2019 R3 (can't speak for R1 or R2), they are now remaining collapsed.
If we check the Autosize Height checkbox, it behaves as it did before (with it unchecked in earlier versions).
Has anyone else noticed this behavior?
It sounds like PB 2017 and earlier had a bug - er, feature! - where it would autosize regardless, and now in 2019 it behaves as you might intuitively expect.
All sounds great, except we have hundreds of potentially impacted datawindows that we'll have to review and check the box if needed.
I'd feel better if this was a known fixed bug; at least that would explain the change in behavior. Otherwise we were lucky to catch it before deploying to production (customer contract portions would have been cut off).
Thanks,
John
