Hello, we are experiencing a mission critical problem with our PB apps. We use simple 2-tier architecture. We connect to a DB2 database via an ODBC DSN and driver. We are being forced (by a Microsoft security update) to change our driver to Data Virtualization Driver 3.2 from Shadow Direct Client. Anyways, all of our char columns (vs. varchar) have always stored at least 1 space in them for a default. Our datawindows have always returned an empty string but with the new driver is now returning the actual space character. The driver company (Rocket) can't figure out if it's them. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Also, we have always sent in a setting called PBFU=YES in our parm string. I'm not sure if the new driver recognized this. Does anyone know what PBFU is used for. Nobody in our entire organization knows what that is.
Thanks, Steve
