Comment # 2 on bug 13259 from Logan Liu @Appeon

Hi Evelyn,

Thanks for reporting this issue.

You can adjust the security configuration for the Cloud App Launcher installation folder on this server:

1) Remove the Everyone group manually. Ensure that only the designated user group responsible for running the Cloud App Launcher has access.

2) Restrict Full Control/Write Permissions
Since you are using the Public version of Cloud App Launcher, only an Administrator can install, upgrade, or uninstall it.

3) Log Folder Permissions
The Cloud App Launcher creates a log folder and writes log files when a user starts a Cloud App.
If the "log" folder does not exist in the installation directory, create one.
If a log folder already exists in the installation directory, assign write permissions to the designated user group.

I haven't done full testing to verify the above suggestions yet. Will continue to analyze. Please also update your conclusions after the meeting.
We will see how to improve the installation control logic of the Public version of Cloud App Launcher.

Regards,
Logan
