PowerClient ERROR [7664] "Failed to load the local config file" -> appconfig.json

Hello

Description / Symptom

When launching the app via the browser, the following error message appears: ERROR [7664] Failed to load the local config file. Path: C:\Users\xx\AppData\Roaming\PBApps\Applications\xy\appconfig.json.

The issue occurs reproducibly from the second browser launch onwards.

 

Steps to Reproduce

Launch the app via the browser → starts without error
Close the app
Launch the app via the browser again → error message appears
 

Workaround

Uninstalling and then launching the app via the browser again resolves the issue temporarily. The first launch succeeds, but the error reappears on the second launch.

 

Behavior in Other Launch Scenarios

Launching via AppLauncher_V3.exe -u https://... as well as via the desktop icon works without issue in every case.

 

Scope

The issue occurs on multiple desktop PCs. Other apps built in an identical way launch via the browser without any problems.

We use PB 2025 mit Runtime 25.0.0.3726
