Resolved Deploy vs Package

Hi all

I have a desktop, client/server application that I need to move to web.

I am using PowerServer on a remote server and CloudPro as my dev IDE

In the IDE,  I defined the Deployment Profiles that I would like to deploy the application to Both Local and to the remote server's Powerserver

I also notice in the IDE's Powerserver toolkit/toolbar there is a Package button.

I need someone to explain to me the difference (or the function) between those two, Deploy vs Package

 

Do I do a Deploy or do I do a Package in order to 'put' the application to the remote server?

Where does the 'Package' unpack all the application's files?
