Hi Team,
As per the suggestion from Appeon, we are using PowerBuilder 2019 R3 to import CEWindowsAPI.dll (since it is not supported in PowerBuilder 2022 R3).
However, we are still facing an issue even in PowerBuilder 2019 R3:
The DLL import works using the .NET DLL Importer, but some public functions from CEWindowsAPI.dll are not appearing (checkbox not visible/selectable) during the importing process, where these functions are currently being used across multiple screens. However, it is causing runtime errors when opening those screens, which is blocking us from accessing several screens in the application.
We would like clarification on the following:
- Even in PowerBuilder 2019 R3 (as recommended), why are some public functions not visible in the importer?
- Are there any known limitations with CEWindowsAPI.dll or the .NET DLL Importer?
- Is there any specific configuration or workaround required to ensure all public functions are available?
Any guidance or suggestions would be helpful.
Regards,
Amrutha
