Resolved Can I opt out from upgrading to PB 25? PB 10 --> PB 22 is not going well...

I'm just starting a rather later migration of PB 10 --> PB 22 r3,  so far the code runs fine but performance is terrible.  the app uses impbedded data windows, which my be the source of the issus.  

 

The PB 10 app is fairly quick.  the pb 22 migration is very slow.  My users say it's "unusable"

I followed advice on the forum and converted fro OLEDB to MSOLEDBSQL SQL Server v19 (latest).  I found only a small performance bump.  

App is running x64 p-code.  It doesn't seem to make if difference form x86.

My IT server guys say I should put in (Nolock) on all the embedded SQL Selects to avoid locking.  I have built in begin trans / commit so I'm wondering if that would really help.  It would be a considerable effort.  

 

I'm left wondering what the "real issue is"???

 

Call me stumped.

 

I'd be grateful for any response on PB 2025 AND others that have experienced performance issues from PB 10.
