Application minimizes when MessageBox is shown from Response Window opened via Non-Visual Object (PB 2019 R3 64-bit, Build 2797)

Hi Team,

We are observing an intermittent minimize issue in our PowerBuilder 2019 R3 (Build 2797, 64-bit) application.

Scenario

  • We have a Non-Visual Object (NVO) that opens a response window using:

     
    OpenWithParm(lw_print, ls_parm, "w_print_contract_cl")

  • Inside that response window, in the ue_post_open() event, a MessageBox() is displayed under certain conditions.

  • When this happens, the entire application gets minimized to the taskbar.

  • This behavior is inconsistent and not tied to any specific trigger — it seems related to focus/activation handling.

Is this a known focus/activation bug in PB 2019 R3 64-bit (Build 2797)?
If yes, could you please share the workaround or the specific fix reference?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.
