Any Ideas to correct Issues with PB2017 on windows 11?

We have a very large library of products and are in the process of porting them from PB2017 R3 to PB2025.  It may be a while before all of this is tested and deployed to our customers.  In the meanwhile we are continuing to support the P2017 product.

We don't have any issues with PB2017 on Windows 10 - however on Windows 11 the compiles randomly go crazy - sometimes not recognizing the application Icon or shifting to the old classic mode regardless of the settings.  Sometimes a reboot will fix the issue - sometimes not.  we have to either run it on our server or one of the remaining Windows 10 machines.

We are going to see if changing to compatibility mode might work. we can think about docker containers or vms next - but wondering if anyone has experiece with this and found a simple fix.
