Hi
Because our company is a corporate firm and due to security reasons, we have limited access to api.appeon.com, so we activate offline. However, offline activation creates other risks. For example, if we change computers and forget to deactivate the old computer, we cannot activate it from the new computer.
My question is: let's assume we can access api.appeon.com from a computer for a temporary period and activate the license. As far as I know, the PB needs to access api.appeon.com again every 1-2 weeks to check the license. When we want to switch to a new computer and activate online again, will we have problems? Or will we have to wait for the 1-2 week online access period of the old computer to activate on the new computer? Or will the license of the old computer be automatically canceled when we activate from the new computer?
We experienced this problem with offline activation, and the old computer was reset without deactivating the license. We then had to fill out a form and contact support to reactivate the license offline on the new computer.
Are there similar problems with online activation? Or, as I asked above, will the activation on the old computer automatically expire when I activate online from a new computer?
My question might be a bit complicated. I hope I've explained it clearly.
Thank you in advance for your help.
