Today I cannot expand the Tables view using MSOLEDBSQL SQL Server.  I can connect, write SQL statements and retrieve results.  But when I click on the Plus button next to Tables (or views) it just hangs.  I believe it was a result of some upgrade that slipped the MSOLEDBSQL version 19 drives on my machine.  I removed these drivers and installed version 18.  I did a complete shut down / restart same issue.  I then upgraded PC21 to version 1509 and still have the same problem.  Any ideas where I can look to fix this?

The 32 bit OLE Microsoft OLE DB drivers work.

Sounds like you could now have have SS "System" Table access restrictions being imposed. I would check with your DBA Team & see what they changed.

Chris, you know your stuff! You realized it had to be on the server side. Before I saw your message I reasoned that if my PC got updates, there must be updates for the server that is affecting things. Sure enough there were updates. I applied the updates, had to restart the server and all is working now.
