We have a Powerbuilder functionality using the RichTextEdit control, with a number of fields filled with data using InputFieldChangeData. Occasionally the content of these data elements does not show up in the control. When restarting the function (after closing the window), it may work, so this happens a bit sporadically. We’re trying to find out how to take care of this.

In the particular case we’ve found this issue, there is a main RichText document (including these fields), and another rich text document is appended to this before changing the input data.

If these rich text documents are built with an earlier version of Powerbuilder (TxText), like TxText28, can that create these problems? Any other suggestions for what we should look at?

After setting SetRedraw(false) to the editor before updating the data fields, the situation improved, but there still are problems with this.

We’re using PB2022, latest release.
