Hi, everyone.

I have not been able to upload the APK of my app to Google Play as it requires me to have API level 29. I‘m using PowerServer 2020 Build 2323. Does this version of PS, or later, support this API level?

Thanks for any help.

Hi Miguel,

It is planned to release a new PowerServer 2020 EBF to support Android API Level 29
around the end of January 2021.

Hi Chris,

When you are developing your application, you will need to choose the platform version against which you will compile the application. In general, you should compile your application against the lowest possible version of the platform that your application can support.

The article below provide information about API Level and how it affects your applications.

Hi Miguel;

  Under the "Package" icon in the PS Toolkit's toolbar in the PB IDE ... There is link in the 1st dialogue to "Templates". If you follow that link, have you installed the lastest mobile template(s)?

Regards ... Chris

Hi, Chris.

Thanks so much for your answer. As you can see, ZhaoKai has informed that support for Android API level 29 will be available in January next year. We will have to wait.

Good morning Chris, has the EBF for API level 29 already been released or will it be released together with the EBF for API level 30? It is urgent to have the solution as soon as possible. Do you know when they will be published?

Yes, API level 29 support has been released in January as we had promised. You need to upgrade to PowerServer 2020 build 2670.
