I will give you a little brief of what happened before I explain the issue I have and ask my question.

The production box, where I had PowerServer Work group edition with our license, crashed.

I am in the process of getting back our PowerServer lic and getting a new server box.

Mean while I downloaded the PowerServer trial version and installed in a temporary box. I deploy the two critical app and everything is fine.

Now I'm trying to deployed the none critical app and The tool kit seems to be doing his job and I do not get any errors, I try to install the app in the android Workspace & I get an error: "Test Connection The requested URL returned error: 404".  (Obviously if the critical app are working the trusty rights and the IIS settings are also OK.)

In IIS the folder for my no critical app does not exist. Then I open the windows explorer go to C:\inetpub\wwwroot  and ,of course, it does not exist either. The estrange thing is when I open the AEM (Application Enterprise Manager) the apps are there like if the deployment when thru OK. I am thinking mayby  PowerServer trial edition only can deal with IIS for a max number of APPs. I do not know. What can be happening?

Like always an advise to solve my issue will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Clarence.

Dr Kai,

1 -Yes It is "C:\inetpub\wwwroot"

2- The server where the IIS and PowerServer trial is running is in our local network. Here a picture of the configuration and the web test.

Hi Clarence,

Please open a support ticket in the support portal, Many thanks in advance.

https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/

And let's schedule a remote session to debug it. We would recommend you to make the remote session during our working time which is 9:00 ~ 17:00 (we are in UTC+8 ) thus we can get the immediate help from the other team if necessary. Regarding the tool to make the remote session, we usually use GTM or TeamViewer, and TeamViewer is preferred because its response is more quicker than GTM during the session, but we can use the other tools that you think is better. Anyway, please let us know when you can make the session and which tool you'd like to use for this session.

Regards,

ZhaoKai

Hi Clarence;

1)  Are all these App's Mobile in nature or a combination of Web & Mobile?

2) Are you deploying directly to the PS "trial" server from the PS Toolkit or are you using the MSI Packaging route?

3) Did you install AWS on the android devices from the PlayStore or via the PowerServer's AWS login screen?

Regards ... Chris

Hi Clarence;

If you are using the PS2019 trial - your AWS installed via PS2019's AEM should be version 2002.

I downloaded and installed PowerServer 2017 Build 1858.

The app that I was able to deploy are working ok.

Maybe this give you a clue: I had Windows 7 Pro in my laptop when I deployed the apps that are working. Now I have Windows 10 Pro. When I deploy it seems it is working and there is no errors but then I can not installed them in may android. I go to the folder c:\inetpub\wwwroot and folder for the app is not there. Very extrange.

I already disable the firewall at the server side and my laptop side and I continue having this issue.

Regards,

Clarence.

Hi Clarence;

I wonder if the PS Toolkit App profile for the missing applications is pointing to a different IIS/PS instance that what you are expecting to be deployed to?

Hi Clarence,

Please go to Toolkit > Configure > Server Profiles > Web Server > %your web server% to check if the web root path is refer to 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot' on PowerServer machine.
